Dr Aravinda Guntupalli Dr Sheela Tripathee, Prof Sara MacLennan, and several IAHS colleagues have published their recent research findings in NIHR Open Research:
Liver cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma - HCC) is the fifth most common cancer worldwide, and the number of people diagnosed with and dying from liver cancer is increasing.
The ICANEQUAL partnership project aimed to
- identify equitable and appropriate care for HCC across the UK
- understand patient experiences of the current clinical pathway
- develop and evaluate an ‘optimal’ new care pathway and
- build a Community of Expertise in HCC
Three virtual workshops were be held between September 2023 and February 2024 with partners from charities, community groups, and patient groups, Healthcare professionals and researchers
