Professor Jonathan Stephens has been elected to the position of Warden of the Music in Education Section of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, 2010 - 2011. The ISM is the UK’s leading professional body for musicians and was founded in 1882. The Society promotes the art of music and the interests of professional musicians through campaigns, support and practical advice. Central to its work are three Sections, which represent the interests of Musicians in Education, Performers and Composers, and Private Music Teachers.
