Dear colleagues,
Please be award that the heavy rain has resulted in flash flooding in some parts of Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, causing disruption to traffic and the potential for unplanned road closures.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) currently has a flood alert in place for the region, with the rain expected to ease this afternoon before returning overnight.
Anyone travelling later today is advised to take extra care and remember that flooding may persist in some locations for a while.
Your safety is the priority. Please liaise with you line manager to discuss as appropriate.
Staff are also reminded that we have facilities that may be useful to you if you are impacted.
