Vice-Principal Regional Engagement, Professor Peter Edwards, represented the University at events marking the 90th anniversary of South China Normal University, celebrating our long-standing international partnership with SCNU. John Skåtun, Harminder Battu, and Katja Christie also attended the celebration event. Pete was a key figure in establishing the SCNU-Aberdeen Joint Education Institute in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence which launched in 2021 and currently has over 700 students completing undergraduate programmes in China.
During the trip Pete also joined an event with our alumni association in Hong Kong on 6 November.
