Dear student,
Following our earlier message please be advised that the power remains out in all affected locations and is unlikely to be restored until Monday at the earliest.
As a reminder, the affected buildings are:
- King’s Hall accommodation block
- Rocking Horse Nursery (closed until further notice)
- Crombie Halls, including the Postgraduate Research School, Interdisciplinary Hub and Bishop’s Table
Residents of Kings Hall are being relocated to Hillhead Student Village with access to the full facilities there. Residents should not attempt to re-enter King’s Hall until the issue is resolved – if access is required then please contact reception at Hillhead Student Village, either in person or by contacting 01224 274000.
Estates staff will be working with contractors over the weekend and are aiming to have power restored by Monday. Service/building users will be kept updated with relevant advice.
