We would like to congratulate Dr Lois Gall on her achievement of completing an MSc in Clinical Education from the University of Aberdeen. Her project was titled "An Evaluation of the Use and Application of LiftUpp at One Dental School in Scotland". The project was supervised by Dr Lorraine Hawick.
This project has led to a better understanding and a unique insight into how LiftUpp e-portfolio is understood and used by dental faculty and students.
Dr Gall was quoted saying: “I completed my MSc over 3 years as part-time online study, whilst juggling a busy work and family life. The support from the excellent course leads and from colleagues, friends and family was invaluable throughout this time. The course has helped me develop as a clinical educator and the knowledge and skills gained has given me a better understanding of clinical education in the wider healthcare context. My future plans are to continue researching dental clinical education and continually improving our learner experiences at the Institute of Dentistry.”
