The Centre for European Labour Market Research today hosted its annual PhD conference at the Town House, Old Aberdeen. Chaired by Professor Ioannis Theodossiou, the conference gives PhD students in Economics the opportunity to present their work to staff and students and obtain feedback on their research. Professor Niels Westergård-Nielsen from the University of Aarhus in Denmark was the external discussant and in his keynote address presented his latest research on the influence of education on firm survival and growth.
