American Literary Invasion - Literally!

Two American-born novelists now living in Scotland will read from their current works next week to the residents of Aberdeenshire as part of the University’s Reading Aloud programme, which is free and open to the public.

Todd McEwen and Lucy Ellmann will read from their latest works on Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Linklater Room, King’s College, Old Aberdeen.

Todd McEwen is an American novelist now living in Scotland. He is a former Writer-In-Residence with Aberdeen Council. His novels include Fisher’s Hornpipe, McX and Arithmetic.

Lucy Ellmann is an American-born novelist currently living in Edinburgh. Her novels include Sweet Desserts (winner of the Guardian Fiction Prize), Varying Degrees of Hopelessness, and Man or Mango?

Admission is free and open to the public.
