A sale of nearly new clothes will take place at the University of Aberdeen on Saturday, March 16, with members of the public invited to take part.
The fundraising event has been organised by the University’s Rocking Horse Nursery, with 30% of the money raised going to nursery funds. The rest of the money will be retained by the seller.
The Nearly New Clothes Sale of children’s clothes, books, toys, games and nursery equipment will take place in the Elphinstone Hall, Regent Walk, Old Aberdeen, from 1pm to 3pm. There will also be a cake and candy stall, as well as tea, coffee, snacks and sandwiches on offer.
Parent and RHN Committee Member Wendy Cruickshank said they are keen for as many people to take part as possible.
“We have held sales like this before, but they have always been restricted to the parents and staff connected to the University. This time we would like the wider community to get involved,” she said.
“Of course, we are looking to sell clothes and toys in very good condition. Anyone interested in taking part should contact the Nursery as soon as possible on 273400, or myself on 273849, to get a number for their goods. We would then ask that they hand them in to Elphinstone Hall on the morning of March 16.”
