We may not be on campus this Fairtrade Fortnight, but we can still support the annual campaign.
The theme of this year’s Fortnight is “Choose the World You Want” and includes a focus on the role of Fairtrade in fighting climate change.
We’re encouraging everyone to share what Fairtrade means to you. We love seeing your photos, so that might simply be a snap of you with your favourite Fairtrade product – tea, coffee, fruit, clothing, flowers, wine – anything at all. Or how about sharing a recipe you love that uses Fairtrade ingredients. We’d also love to hear your thoughts on the role of Fairtrade and the global producers supported by it; or, if you fancy being more creative, how about doing so in verse!
Any photos, recipes or Fairtrade thoughts can be sent to sustainability@abdn.ac.uk. We’ll compile and share these during Fairtrade Fortnight.
