We are pleased to announce that Professor Robert Frost has been elected as a foreign member of the Polish Academy of the Arts and Sciences (Polska Akademia Umiejętności, the equivalent of the British Academy). The Academy was founded in 1872 in the Austrian partition, but rapidly became the recognised national academy across the partitions. Elected members have to be approved by the President of Poland.
