On 4/6/2020 Dr Thomas L Muinzer of AUCEL provided in written form and presented verbally (over Zoom, online) a legal brief to the Legal Services Agency, Glasgow. The brief sets out his view that the Secretary of State’s failure to amend certain sections of the UK’s Climate Change Act 2008 is highly problematic on technical legal grounds. The group has decided to consider Dr Muinzer’s recommendations over the coming months, and will explore whether they can be taken forward in practical ways.
