PgR student, Lise Olsen selected to join the Hospitalfield's Graduate Residency and the Magnetic North's ROUGH MIX creative lab.
Lise will spend two weeks working at the Hospitalfield’s studios in December 2018. During this time, she plans to work on a new sound composition. Lise will also take part in a programme of discussions, events, and visits. This year's selectors for the Graduate Residency were Fiona Robertson, Head of Culture Perth and Kinross Council and Claire Craig, curator of the Travelling Gallery.
ROUGH MIX is a paid creative lab for early-stage ideas and practice development. Lise will join the creative lab at Perth Theatre. Where she will explore and experiment with ambisonics for theatre production. Lise will work together with a group of artists and performers over two weeks in January 2019. The group aims to make a work-in-progress show at the end of the time.
