As part of the House of Lords Select Committee on the Rural Economy, Professor Wallace, head of the New Europe Centre, will be giving evidence at a hearing in the Houses of Parliament on digital connectivity in rural areas.
The hearing will cover a variety of issues including, policy towards rural digital connectivity, the roll out of broadband and full-fibre in rural areas, implications of poor connectivity for rural businesses and communities, and challenges of getting remote areas digitally connected.
