In the past oral cancer has been almost exclusively associated with smoking and alcohol consumption, but now we are beginning to understand that there are more factors involved. It’s a major health problem in Scotland with numbers of patients exceeding that of cervical and testicular cancer combined.Dr Karolin Hijazi and Dr Rasha Abu Eid addressed this issue in their talk 'Oral Cancer, whose problem is it?'.
