World Premier for Professor Paul Mealor

The world premier of Professor Paul Mealor's first concerto will be performed by David Childs.

Professor Paul Mealor's new Euphonium Concerto to be premiered by David Childs and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Owain Arwel Hughes CBE at St David's Hall, Cardiff on 29th July as part of the Last Night of the Welsh Proms. This sixteen-minute work is a real tour-de-force for euphonium and is Professor Mealor's first concerto.
