Dr Caitlin Cottrill, lecturer in Geography & Environment and member of the University’s Centre for Transport Research, was recently an invited speaker at the Technology and Data-Driven Transport event as part of the British Embassy Manila’s Public Lecture Series. Along with Dr Chandra Balijepalli of ITS-Leeds, Dr Cottrill spoke at the University of the Philippines Diliman on the topic of ‘Big Data, Social Media and Transport’. Drs Cottrill and Balijepalli also took part in activities around the Embassy’s GREAT British Festival.
