Former Music Librarian and Honorary Research Fellow receives awards for a second time

Richard Turbet has been awarded the 2013 C. B. Oldman Prize ofthe United Kingdom and Ireland Branch of the International Associationof Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres. The award is for anoutstanding work of music bibliography, music reference, or musiclibrarianship and Richard's 3rd edition of William Byrd: a research andinformation guide (New York: Routledge, 2012) won this year's award.This is the second time that Richard  has been the recipient ofthis prestigious prize; in 1996 his Tudor music: a research andinformation guide (New York : Garland, 1994) also received the award.
