Renowned Scottish cellist and composer Duncan Strachan presents a captivating journey through Scotland’s musical landscape, past and present, in this programme for solo cello. From the lyrical elegance of early Scottish melodies to the bold innovations of contemporary voices, Strachan traces a lineage of Scottish musical identity, weaving together traditional airs, reimaginings of Gaelic song, and striking works by contemporary Scottish composers.
