The University Collections hold events all year round. Our programme includes exhibitions, talks, workshops, collections close-ups, arts and crafts, open days, tours and much more!

The current exhibition from University Collections is Aberdeen Artworlds, marking 50 years of the Linklater Collection of works by some of the most important Scottish artists of the 20th century.

A new bilingual Arabic-English display with a case in the Ground Floor Foyer of the Sir Duncan Rice Library explores historic and current links between Aberdeen and Palestine.

The University of Aberdeen has many public artworks in Old Aberdeen. Pick up a leaflet from the Library, Zoology Museum and other venues on campus and enjoy a walk taking in the art. The accompanying website provides details of each artwork.

Visit the Sir Duncan Rice Library, Cruickshank Botanic Garden and Zoology Museum on Doors Open Day, Saturday 5 September. A walk of around 20 minutes takes in two iconic buildings and exceptional examples of art, archaeology, and the animal world.
