You will join the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition as one of a team of administrative and clerical staff who support our healthcare degree programmes. You will be located in the Suttie Centre on the Foresterhill site.
Job Description
You will be part of the Clinical Skills Centre team which is responsible for teaching of medical and other healthcare students in both the simulated environment and for liaison with clinical staff who provide clinical opportunities on wards and other clinical areas. A senior administrator, the Patient Partner Programme Manager, leads the small team that provides essential support to staff, our volunteers (Patient Partners) and students to ensure that teaching is well organised and runs in an efficient way. You will liaise with both University and NHS clinical staff as well as with medical and other healthcare students. The post is part of the Institute of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition and within a larger group of administrative staff who administer our healthcare and medical science degree programme.
This is a full-time job. The role is public facing and office based, we are ideally looking for hours of work to be between 9.30am and 5.30pm.
Although consideration of flexible working patterns will be considered within that, such as a term time contract.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 3, £25,255 - £26,707 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
