IAHS Researcher Fellowships

There are a number of researchers within the IAHS currently working on Research Fellowships utilising health and/or administrative data and data linkage.

Dr Mairead Black

Mairead is a Clinical Lecturer with the Obstetrics and Gynaecology group and was awarded a Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship.

Dr Marjorie Johnston

Marj is a Clinical Research Fellow with the Chronic Disease Research group and was awarded a CSO Clinical Research Fellowship in 2012 as part of the Pathways to a Healthy Life theme.
Project title: Multimorbidity: prevalence, risk factors and resilience in a large Scottish birth cohort

Dr Angharad Marks

Angharad (Harry) is a Clinician Scientist within the Chronic Disease Research group and was awarded a Clinician Scientist Fellowship.

Dr David Mclernon

David is a Research Fellow with the Medical Statistics team and was awarded a Backett Weir Russell Career Development Fellowship.

Dr Simon Sawhney

Simon is a Lecturer with the Chronic Disease Research group and was awarded a Wellcome Clinical Research Fellowship in 2012.
Project title: Long Term Outcomes of Acute Kidney Injury: Establishing Prognosis to Design Optimal Management

Ms Dorota Chapko

Dorota is a PhD student who's project is funded by the Pathways to a Healthy Life theme.  Dorota's supervisory team includes Prof Corri Black from the IAHS.
