-The prizewinning story will be announced at the WayWORD Festival, in the Main Hall, King's Pavilion, University of Aberdeen, AB24 3FX, on Friday 27 September 2024 at 3:00pm. The winner will receive a £500 prize, and the story will be read aloud by well-known North-East writer, Sheena Blackhall.
