Join us for the Doric Messiah, a singing workshop and performance of selections from Handel's Messiah in Doric, hosted by The Elphinstone Institute, University of Aberdeen, in partnership with the Music Department, University of Aberdeen.

Conducted by internationally acclaimed composer, Paul Mealor. Words by Gordon Hay, translator of the Doric Bible.

Come and Sing, registration 11.00am, rehearsal until 1.00pm at MacRobert Lecture Theatre, MacRobert Building, University of Aberdeen.

Free sandwich lunch 1.00-2.00pm.

St Machar Cathedral rehearsal 2.00pm-4.30pm.

St Machar Cathedral, Doric Messiah 6.30pm, followed by reception.

Register for Come and Sing, for the whole day, or Come and Listen in the evening and be part of the audience to hear the Messiah sung in Doric.
