Custodial History / Provenance

The majority (c.345 volumes) comprised the personal collection of the Revd. A. David Lewis (1916-95), Presbyterian minister and translator. Alongside archival material (MS 3478), the Collection was acquired by the University of Aberdeen from the Revd. Lewis in 1995.
