About Politics and International Relations
The study of Politics and International Relations (PIR) involves understanding major challenges and conflicts facing the world today: war, conflict and peace, inequality, climate change, challenges to democracy, and beyond. Through analysing power and conflict, we can aim to resolve global political problems.
At Aberdeen you can choose from a wide range of courses in PIR, and will also have the opportunity to study these subjects as part of a joint degree with another discipline.
