About Geology
Geologists study processes that form & shape the earth, and how surface environments & climates change.
At Aberdeen we focus on building a sustainable future. We examine how people interact with their environment to help improve natural resource management, contribute to the energy transition, protect the environment, and combat climate change.
Our teaching & research is interdisciplinary. We work closely with other departments in the School of Geosciences, and other Schools at the University.
