Join Professor Karin Friedrich and your fellow alumni for an immersive cultural journey through Potsdam!
On Saturday 13 September, starting at 10am, embark on a day of discovery - one step at a time - exploring Potsdam’s rich heritage, striking architecture, and compelling stories.
Begin with a stroll through the Russian Quarter, including a visit to the fascinating Museum Alexandrowka. Then wander back through the elegant Dutch Quarter, where there will be a pause for a relaxed lunch.
In the afternoon, pass the New Synagogue and the Nikolaikirche and take in iconic landmarks including the Old Market Square, Ringerkolonnade, Nauener Gate, the old city wall, and Potsdam’s Brandenburger Gate - each enriched by Professor Friedrich’s engaging retelling of early modern history.

Attendees will also be responsible for arranging their own travel and covering the costs of food and drink during the event. Tickets to the museum are an additional 3.50 euros.
