Development & Alumni Relations is giving two lucky alumni the chance to win two tickets each to a Tall Ships Races Aberdeen concert of their choice this summer.
With Aberdeen due to welcome The Tall Ships Races to the city this summer we're inviting you to share your photos and memories of past Tall Ships Races with us, giving two lucky alumni the chance of winning two tickets each to see your choice of headline act Deacon Blue, Ministry of Sound Classical or Kaiser Chiefs as part of this year's celebrations. The winners will be chosen at random and a runner up will receive a Tall Ships goody bag. The story content you provide will be shared across University social media channels. If you would like to take part please send an email to alumni@abdn.ac.uk including your name, degree subject, graduation year, memory and photo. We would also love to hear from you if you are involved in this year's Tall Ships!

Terms & Conditions
- Entrants must be a graduate of the University of Aberdeen.
- Participation for the competition prize is limited to one entry per person.
- The competition opens on Friday 30 May 2025 and will close at 5pm on Friday 27 June 2025.
- All entries will be entered into a prize draw, with the winners drawn at random on Tuesday 1 July 2025.
- Winners will be required to confirm the concert they wish to attend by 5pm on Friday 4 July 2025. Failure to do so will result in new winners being selected from the prize draw.
- In addition to Deacon Blue (18 July), Ministry of Sound (19 July) and Kaiser Chiefs (21 July), a fourth concert takes place on Sunday 20 July. The Tide Lines and Calum Bowie event is non-ticketed and therefore not included in the prize giveaway.
- The prize cannot be sold, transferred or replaced.
- Please note entry to the concerts is for those over 14 years old. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over. A full list of FAQs for the concerts can be found on the Tall Ships page of the City Council website.
- The UoA reserves the right to amend or waive any of these Rules or cancel the competition at any time.
