Fantastic news today that the GEMINI study has been shortlisted for two of the Holyrood’s Digital Health and Care Awards 2025.

Being shortlisted is tremendous recognition for this amazing multi-sector study which includes teams from NHS Grampian, Kheiron Medical Technologies, and the University of Aberdeen.
The Mia artificial intelligence (AI) breast screening tool helped doctors find an additional 12 percent more cancers than in routine practice. Professor Lesley Anderson leads the team at the University of Aberdeen undertaking the evaluation and you can read more about the findings here.
