The Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) Databank is the national trusted research environment (TRE) for Wales. Established in 2007, it provides access within a secure platform to anonymised, linkable, population-scale data sources, including health and social care, administrative, demographic, socio-economic and a variety of other national, local and specialist services data. Professor Akbari will provide an overview of the SAIL Databank, how potential researchers can access and use SAIL, how a TRE and linked data can be used in a multi-disciplinary team to support research and improve services and people’s outcomes, with examples from research projects and programmes who have or are using the SAIL Databank. Find out and register on the event page.
