Prof Nir Oren, Computing Sciences who will talk about:
“Introduction to argumentation theory"
Formal argumentation attempts to capture the manner in which humans reason with, and about, arguments. It has become increasingly popular in computer science as a non-monotonic reasoning methodology with explanatory capabilities. In this talk I will provide an overview of argumentation theory, discuss some links with explanatory dialogues, as well as highlight some potential applications.
