The Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science (ACHDS) supports interactivity at every level to raise the profile of health data science and:

create an environment of partnership within the Centre and with national and international collaborators
drive collaboration across all disciplines
develop new partnerships with key stakeholders, including industrial partnerships
work with the University of Aberdeen Public Engagement with Research Unit (PERU) and NHS Grampian Public Involvement Network to engage with and involve our population, across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Grampian and the North, in health data science.

Women in Data Science Conference 2023

Women in Data Science (WiDS) Aberdeen is an independent event that is organized by the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science to coincide with the annual WiDS Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University and an estimated 200+ locations worldwide. All genders are invited to attend WiDS regional events which feature outstanding women doing outstanding work.

One HealthTech Aberdeen

The Centre hosts the Aberdeen hub of One HealthTech, a global organisation that promotes diversity in health technology. We run friendly and informal events that are welcoming to everyone, and we encourage women and other under-represented groups in tech to attend.
