The Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science is a partnership between the University of Aberdeen, NHS Grampian and NHS Research & Development North Node, bringing together the people and the expertise from the existing centres of excellence for health and data science with clinical colleagues to establish a vibrant, multidisciplinary research environment to address the heath challenges of our local community, and population health nationally and across the globe.

We have world leading expertise in accessing, managing and working with complex and varied health data, including data that follows people over time – from second to second as well as over years from birth to end of life, with particular strengths in image analysis.  We are working in EU and International partnerships in Trust, Transparency and Accountability in Learning Health Systems. Centres of excellence in Health Service Research and Health Economics bring ‘real world’ evaluation, codesign and implementation sciences bring a powerful partnership to our ecosystem.
