About

The Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science is a partnership between the University of Aberdeen, NHS Grampian, and NHS Research & Development North Node. We bring together the people and the expertise, from the existing centres of excellence for health and data science, with clinical colleagues to establish a vibrant, multidisciplinary research environment. Together we strive to address the heath challenges faced within our local community, nationally, and across the globe.

We have world leading expertise in accessing, managing, and working with complex and varied health data, including data that follows people over time, with particular strengths in image analysis.  We are working in EU and International partnerships in Trust, Transparency, and Accountability in Learning Health Systems. Centres of excellence in Health Service Research and Health Economics bring a powerful partnership with ‘real world’ evaluation, codesign, and implementation sciences to our ecosystem.
