EPSI

EPSI (Education for Peace and Security Initiative) leverages our extensive research and expertise in the education and security sectors to support education policy and teaching that contributes to peaceful and secure societies globally.

It is an initiative at the University of Aberdeen and the Open University in the United Kingdom. It is co-led by Dr Manu Lekunze and Professor Parvati Raghuram

Ongoing Projects

• Working with intergovernmental organisations in Africa to create a regional framework for education for peace and security.
• Developing materials to support citizenship/civic/peace education in Cameroon, Mali, Gabon, and the UK.
• Developing materials to support teaching the climate crisis in Cameroon and the UK.
