Final proof copy of the second tune on page 21 of the Harp and Claymore collection. Once the printer has set the music and text, a 'final proof' copy is printed and returned to the author for corrections. The bars crossed out with blue crayon were deleted. They were replaced with a melody that is (basically) one tone higher, and with a different bass line. |
