| Item Description
|
Two tunes (melody only) from the 'James Christie MS 1730-1760'. 'Flow[e]rs of the Forest', here in a decorated version, is associated with the Battle of Flodden Field, 1513, where many Scottish nobles, including King James IV, died. 'The Rog[ue]s March', also found in other manuscripts, is likely to have been a popular theatre song. |
