Another version of the Trio for Skinner's virtuoso solo ' Le Messe'. This is on the rear of JSS0215 in which Skinner had reworked Le Messe in Polka Tempo. this Trio was to be played after a repeat of the first Polka melodic strain. His footnote reads 'Le Messe? or Messie? The The Messiah Fiddle. owned by Mr Crawford Leith. he paid £2000 to Hill [a firm of violin dealers] in London.
