Course Description

Students will be introduced to research and presentation skills during the earlier course programme (Pg Cert, Pg Dip). Each project will be unique and depend on the interests of the student and on-going research work within the division. All research projects will be reviewed be the programme co-ordinator prior to a decision on a suitable project being assigned.

Course aims:

1. To identify and analyse literature appropriate to the research topic

2. To plan and develop a research protocol

3. To implement appropriate research methodology

4. To collate and analyse research data

5. To demonstrate the ability to present research findings both in the written format and verbally.
