Course Overview

You will gain an overview of the principles of good research design in both qualitative and quantitative studies, and will be encouraged to apply these principles in an interactive mini-viva scenario.  You will consolidate and extend your knowledge of the one-way and factorial ANOVA.  You will also be be provided with an improved practical understanding of regression.
This course provides a number of practical sessions, such as as conducting analyses in SPSS, using SPSS to conduct ANOVA calculations, and the use of bivariate regression and its extension to multiple regression, with particular emphasis on hierarchical multiple regression.
