Course Overview

This course will provide you with information about the structure of postgraduate study, as well as sources of assistance in dealing with any problems which may arise during your degree.  You should also develop a good understanding of your rights and obligations concerning your working relationship with your supervisor.
You will be introduced to good practice in demonstrating and small group teaching, attain a thorough understanding of the ethical issues in psychological research and the Data Protection Act, learn about the philosophy of science and the history of Psychology, and be introduced to reviewing literature and reference management.
