Central Teaching Pool

The Central Teaching Pool is the main suite of rooms available for teaching and non-teaching activities at the University.  The Pool is managed by the Central Timetabling Team.

Rooms available include:

• Lecture theatres
• Tutorial and seminar rooms
• Computer rooms
• Flexible teaching spaces
• Laboratories
• Meeting rooms

You can request a room via the online form.  Queries should be sent to roombookings@abdn.ac.uk

Additional notes

Please give at least 3 working days notice for any room booking request. We cannot guarantee requests with less than 24 hours notice.

All evening and weekend bookings are restricted to the MacRobert building and New Kings, wherever possible, and must end by 10.00pm.

Catering is not permitted in teaching rooms. If catering is required please let us know so we can look for suitable accommodation for you.

Security are advised of all room bookings to ensure rooms are unlocked as required. If a room you have booked is locked on arrival, please contact Security on +44 (0) 1224 27 3327.
