The exhibition 'Century Long Journey', featuring the mammoth ivory model of Ysyakh in the collection of the British Museum, will run at the National Museum of the Arts until September 2015.
The exhibition 'Century Long Journey', featuring the mammoth ivory model of Ysyakh in the collection of the British Museum, will run at the National Museum of the Arts until September 2015. As well as the model the exhibition includes fine examples of mammoth ivory carvings in the NAM's own collection, as well as twentieth cnetury graphic arts depicting ysyakh celebrations.
