Works by Robert Musil, Arthur Schnitzler, Otto Wagner, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, G.W. Pabst, Arnold Schönberg and Sigmund Freud will be examined in their socio-historical contexts to understand what made turn-of-the century Vienna such a culturally dynamic place, which gave rise to ideas that continue to shape our lives today.
