Course Description

The Professional Skills with Work Integrated Learning course has been designed to enhance students’ employability through a range of lectures covering reflective practices and effective communication and application of the developed employability skills. By taking this course, students will develop their abilities to present themselves and their capabilities based on their existing experiences and skills.

The course has been set up to run directly after a summer internship/placement, or alongside an internship/placement during winter term. Internships must be self-organised by the student or applied for as part of one of the School’s internship programmes during their third year to run over the summer. The eligibility of the self-organised activities will be assessed by the course coordinator as part of course registration and will require confirmation from the host organisation.
