This course covers an introduction to AI topics and tools such as large language models, image generation and computer vision. The course will build intuitive understanding without requiring programming experienced or advanced maths. The focus is on developing the ability to use and understand these technologies in a productive, responsible and ethical manner.

AI has become the biggest development of the 2020’s, evolving from a niche area of research to being integrated into every part of our lives. While AI tools are increasingly easy to use, using them correctly and effectively is important. This course emphasises the role of AI to support our work to make us more productive, rather than replacing us. This course will also include guest lectures from a wide range of experts offering diverse perspectives.
