This course seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in the field of psychology. Students will explore the diverse ways in which psychological principles are employed to address real-world challenges across a variety of areas including education, social connection, and addiction.
Through a series of lectures, students will engage with a wide spectrum of applied psychology topics, gaining valuable insights into how psychological theories and research findings can be used in applied settings. During the course students will have the opportunity to see how psychology can contribute to the understanding of and inform practice in contemporary societal challenges.
