Course Overview

This course is a required component of year 2 of the MSc in Physician Associate Studies programme. This course ensures that PA students have the competence to perform a range of skills safely and effectively at the point of graduation.

These core skills are essential for practice and also in preparation for post-graduation registration assessments.

Course Description

This course will ensure students have the core clinical practice, core clinical practical procedures and core therapeutic procedures of the updated FPA Physician Associate curriculum.

The assessment for this course is via an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) as well as satisfactory completion of ILS (Intermediate Life Support) training.
