The course is only available to Gateway to Medicine students. It is specifically designed to support students transition into the MBChB programme.
In this course you will be introduced to the concepts of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology and immunology. These are all key subjects covered in the first year of the MBChB programme. This course is designed to provide students with strong foundational knowledge and to build confidence before entering the medicine programme.
It will be delivered through a mixture of live and pre-recorded lectures, workshops and practical sessions and is assessed by a summative exam at the end of the course. Formative exams will be offered prior to the summative exam.
