This course encourages students to investigate and develop an understanding of hazard and risk in society and as it applies in their professional context.

Risk Management is high on government, business and societal agendas. Irrespective of industry or background there is a necessity for everyone to have a background in risk management to enable them to identify, evaluate and control hazards and risks which could have a detrimental effect on their objectives. This course is for educational (and other) professionals to take the first steps on a risk management journey specifically tailored to their own professional context by understanding the issues surrounding hazard and risk.
